The trackpad found on the Macbook Pro provides two-finger scrolling, pinch to zoom, finger tip rotation, and three and four finger swipe functionality. The Magic Trackpad has all of these capabilities as well as 80% more surface area than the trackpad found on the Macbook Pro.
