‘Readability’ Simplifies Online Reading

A friend of mine recently clued me in on an excellent web browser plugin. Readability is a “bookmarklet” that can be installed into most web browsers and erases the advertisements and clutter surrounding articles that you are interested in reading. I have successfully used it in both Safari and Firefox on my Mac.

To install Readability, simply go to the link mentioned above and drag the bookmark to your bookmarks bar. Then, when you open an article that you wish to view without all the clutter of advertisements, just click the ‘Readability’ button in your bookmarks bar and it instantly removes everything found around the article, making your online reading much more enjoyable.
